Blog Feature! Karma Fly Design

http://www.karmaflydesign.com/ Blog feature is something new to me, so I picked a blog from a good friend/ neighbor of mine to start with. Why? Well, I believe in the community and I also believe in creative people should support one another. On top of all that, both Jenny and her husband Jason are just too awesome to be not be featured. "Karma Fly Design is the creation of founder, Jenny Reitz (pronounced “rights”). After spending half a decade behind a desk in corporate America, Jenny decided to do something that allowed her to channel her creativity in a way that would bring joy to others. And so, Karma Fly Design was born. The name “Karma Fly” was created by roughly rearranging letters from Jenny’s late father’s name: Mark Heffley – so, he is always part of her inspiration. At Karma Fly Design, our purpose is to design your vision. From photography and graphic design to video production, Karma Fly Design will make your vision a reality." Quoted from Karma Fly Design. wanna know more about Jenny Reitz, you can click http://www.karmaflydesign.com/about/who-is-jenny-reitz/ Portfolio of Karma Fly Design http://www.karmaflydesign.smugmug.com/

Commission pricing info.

Hello All: I am back into the full swing of things so figured might as well provide a simple pricing info for painting based commission work. It is 250-300 for 16x20/ 1-1/2" oil on canvas, or 24x30/ 1-1/2"for 500. Of course I do other sizes but it really depends on the subject matter and the complexity of the commission. Also, I need half of the agreed upon price as the non-refundable deposit. Thank you all for the years of support!

PAINTING!

this is the last portrait I did in recent year( two years). its not exactly unusual for me to paint with high complexity of layers and colors.

Shades!

I finished this piece about two months ago. Its a simple piece solely focused on the complexity of the shades on the woman's face done in an impressionistic way. its mixed media on heavy weight watercolor paper.

Tattoo ideas!

I have been hanging out at a local tattoo shop for awhile now and has inspired to draw some tattoo inspired drawings.
I dont know if they are any good but they sure were fun to draw!
